We submitted concert announcements along with photos to the 2 newspapers in Colorado Springs. Once we got a review from John Fetler, Music Critic, the Gazette Telegraph printed our announcements. When Jim Reynolds, Music Critic for The SUN wrote his review, they also printed our announcements. That worked well. Click on the thumb nail to download/view the concert ad.




	Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph, Saturday, May 13, 1972. Photo on right is Michael Paul Gibson conducting a rehearsal of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony playing L'Oiseau de feu (Firebird) Suite by Igor Stravinsky in Uihlein Hall (see below) in the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This was a few months before Michael enlisted in the Air Force.

	*Leisure Time Section Feature Article*

The Colorado Springs Chamber Music Society received a 3 full-pages, plus a half page, article with photos in the weekend “Leisure Time Section” -- on the cover! The audience increased to “standing room only!”
