 I studied piano, cello, and accompaniment at the Royal
College of Music and I am an Associate of the Royal College of Music (ARCM) in London England. I have had a master class with Nadia Boulanger and extensive
experience in England and in the Bay Area. I have been piano soloist with the Foothill Orchestra, playing “Piano Concerto No. 22” by W.A. Mozart.
I have been teaching piano for 46+ years. Nearly all
of my hundreds of students who have taken the ABRSM Piano Exams and Cello Exams (including Theory), have passed with Merrit and Distinction. My
accompaniment experience is extensive. I have accompanied hundreds of students for ABRSM exams and performances. I have accompanied a large number of
professional singers and instrumentalists for performance and rehearsal locally and Internationally. I have accompanied ballet dance classes with the San Jose Dance
Theatre. I was the concert and rehearsal pianist for the Menlo Park Chorus for eight years (see RECORDINGS). I have been the concert and rehearsal pianist for the
Foothill Orchestra and the Silicon Valley Symphony. I have accompanied countless church and community choirs. I was the accompanist for the PCLG Junior Chancel
Choir and regular sub for the Chancel Choir. I have played the celeste part during Nutcracker Ballet performances with the Silicon Valley Symphony in colaboration
with the San Jose Dance Theatre in the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts for the 2009, 2010, and 2011 performances. I have been the Principal Cellist of the
Foothill Orchestra and play cello and piano with the Silicon Valley Symphony.
