Description:
Music director, Michael Gibson leads the orchestra in
"Christmas Concert"
The orchestra played Tschaikowsky’s 5th Symphony on June 11, 1999 and here is what music critic, Keith Kreitman said about the recording:
“It is absolutely phenomonal what you are getting from such a small orchestra. It is really a great
recording. The only conclusion I am able to come to is that man for man and woman for woman you have the best collection of musicians on the Peninsula.”
Listen to the recording of Tschaikowsky’s 5th Symphony
The orchestra plays Tschaikowsky’s 1812 Overture and selections from the Nutcracker Suite along with Dvorak’s New World Symphony ...and it promises to be a season favorite!
