I was Spellbound!
I was spellbound from beginning to end! I have never before been able to sit through a long work like the Tchaikowsky Symphony No. 5 without losing interest or getting bored. BRAVO! The Tchaikowsky held my attention every second!
Congratulations Maestro!
Lothar Bandermann, Organist, Composer, and Physicist (Lockheed)
Dear Mr. Gibson,
Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed the Foothill Orchestra Concert Friday.
Thank you for putting the notice in the Foothills Church bulletin. We look forward to the August concert
Meg Morris and Ray Franks
Bravo!
"That was a great concert last night. I really enjoyed the selections and the outstanding performance. Bravo! Great dynamics, great precision - and it had all of my favorites - horns, bassoon, great clarinet - Dave Ross etc."
Ray Peck
Fabulous!
Michael,
"You have done a fabulous job. Last night's concert was terrific, but only because of the dedication and effort you put into it. You are to be commended for your extra enthusiasm and dedication. I'd like to say...memorize all scores, but that is asking a lot. It really made the difference."
Sue Macy, Principal Clarinet, Clarinet in San Jose Symphony, Orchestra Conductor and Band Director at Gunn High School, Palo Alto
Of the June 11 concert he says, "I'm looking forward to
playing with the orchestra and conductor Michael Paul Gibson. Michael is a great musician and we understand each other. I am moving to Brazil, but will be back in June and December of 2000 to work with Michael again. Foothill College is very fortunate."
